Tyler’s First Birthday Monkey Cake (2309)

Tyler's First Birthday Cake!

Tyler’s First Birthday Cake!

Elizabeth, one of our repeat customers, was one of our customers who was impacted by hurricane Sandy. Her son Tyler’s 1st birthday was originally scheduled for Nov 3rd, but had to be rescheduled due to the storm.

Boy's birthday cake with Monkey Topper

Party Monkey atop 1st Birthday Cake!

We are so glad they were able to reschedule it and really love how the cake turned out. It was inspired by my son’s 1st birthday cake.

Cake tier with yellow fondant, stars and polka dots

The 4 tiered cake is highlighted with a fun party monkey on the top wearing a blue and yellow party hat holding a big red balloon with stars. The top tier is covered in orange tier with white “icing” and polka dots.

The next tier is covered with yellow fondant with stars and polka dots. Tyler’s name is written across the front with stripes in the letters. The next tier, much like the first tier, is covered with white icing and lime green fondant. The final tier is decorated with light blue fondant with brown stripes and colored polka dots. Primary colors included lime, orange, yellow, brown, white royal blue, and red.

Elizabeth wrote us this wonderful email after the event. We are so happy they enjoyed the cake!
