Ski inspired Bar Mitzvah Cake (2512)
David is a big skier and we included some of his favorite skiing equipment for this Bar Mitzvah cake. The cake’s square design was partially inspired by Matt’s cake pictured here.
The first square tie includes a panel with ski trail signs including double black diamond (expert), diamond (advanced), square (intermediate) and circle (beginner). Other sides include some of David’s favorite ski resort destinations including Whistler and Aspen.
The next includes the date of the party that was inspired from the celebrations invitation. Lime (Neon), white and black stripes round out the remaining decorations. The final tier includes David’s name and mountain cutouts with black skiing silhouettes.
The top of the cake includes goggles and a ski helmet with skis leaning against the side of the cake. We added green LED lights in the googles and around the cake. Flavors and fillings included vanilla with raspberry chambord and red velvet with oreos and cream buttercream.
Update: Here’s another ski themed Mitzvah cake that we created for a B’nai Mitzvah. It was paired along this magically themed cake!
