Retro Arcade Cake (2003)

Retro Arcade Cake

1980's Style Arcade Cake

We are excited to post this cake – a replica of a classic arcade game.  The standing arcade cake was based on images sent by the client for a Bar Mitzvah at Powerhouse Studios in East Hanover, NJ.

Having grown up in the eighties and nineties, I remember attending parties centered around skating and arcades. This freestanding arcade includes all the classic features of a 1980’s style arcade – the big red joystick, the red fire button, and the 25 cent deposit to play.

The cake was chocolate and vanilla with oreos and cream buttercream.

Loved this message we received from Diane on our Facebook Fan Page. Thanks Diane!

This was my son’s Bar Mitzvah party cake 🙂 It was both amazing looking and super yummy. Wonderful attention to detail and very authentic (we had people actually trying to play it thinking it was a mini game!) The cake was one chocolate layer, and one vanilla layer, with oreo buttercream. BIG hugs and thanks to you guys for making Liam one happy guy!! (Mom too :))
