Pink Hydrangea Blossoms Wedding Cake (1853)
Using our hydrangea blossom cake as inspiration, we designed this four tier round cake for a wedding this weekend in Gladstone, NJ. The top of the cake includes several pale pink blossoms and as you move down the cake, the color of the blossoms transition to a darker pink. White piped pearls decorate each tier and the entire cake is covered in white fondant.
Flavors and fillings included pink velvet with cream cheese, carrot cake with Italian meringue buttercream and coconut cake with Italian meringue buttercream and raspberry chambord buttercream.
Was thrilled to read this Facebook comment from Amy! And to top it off she is a fellow Villa Walsh grad as well!
This was my wedding cake and it was absolutely gorgeous! It tasted even better than it looked (if that is even possible); our guests raved about each of the flavors! My favorites were the signature pink velvet and the coconut cake with the raspberry chambord. We LOVED our cake and you also did an incredible job on the KC Royals hat groom’s cake – it was quite the crowd pleaser! Thank you for helping to make our wedding day special, memorable and delicious 🙂
Had to also add this comment from Christina on our Facebook Fan Page. We work hard to make sure our cakes taste as good as they look.
It’s stunning, and I KNOW for a fact it tasted even better than it looked! 🙂
Update: One year later and we just delivered Amy and her husband’s anniversary topper cake. We love Amy’s feedback about the anniversary cake and the 1 year old wedding cake that she ate with some of her bridesmaids!
Thank you for the delicious pink velvet cake topper! such a wonderful memory of our beautiful wedding cake!! Also just ate a big piece of 1 year old pink velvet from the wedding with some of my bridesmaids and we couldn’t get over how it still tastes incredible. It held up amazingly well – wow!! Amazing job, thank you! Can’t wait to order a Pink Cake Box cake again!
