Painted Bar Mitzvah Generation Cake (1643)

Painted Bar Mitzvah Cake
The theme for this four tier painted Bar Mitzvah cake was “from generation to generation”. Inspiration came from photos sent by the client depicting a variety of scenes across generations including present data New Jersey suburbs, the lower east side in the 1950’s with kids playing stickball, scenes from Eastern Europe and scenes from Jerusalem.

At the top of the cake is an open torah with L’dor V’dor in Hebrew. Flavors included vanilla cake with raspberry buttercream, vanilla cake with raspberry chambord buttercream, red velvet with vanilla buttercream and chocolate with cappuccino & chocolate buttercream. We delivered the cake to the Old Mill In in Basking Ridge, NJ.
