Martin Truex Jr. Foundation Cake (783)
We created this cake for the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation which held a fundraising event in the NASCAR star’s home town of Mayetta, New Jersey at the Sea Oaks Golf Club. The foundation is dedicated to providing funds to nonprofit charitable organizations who strive to positively impact the lives of children in need.
The 4-tier square cake includes black separators with fish shaped geometric patterns in black and sparkly copper colors. The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation logo is on the front of the 2nd tier and the “Hooked on Helping” logo is on the front of the bottom tier.
On the top of the cake is a three-dimensional cutout of a child fishing in a rowboat. Cascading down the cake is a fishing line with a shiny copper colored fish at the end. The cakes flavors included chocolate cake with vanilla filling and red velvet cake with vanilla filling.
Such a cute cake! I love the attetion to detail you all put into each of your creations. I’ve been a fan of your cakes for years, and I check the blog multiple times a week. It’s inspiring, and I hope to one day even have half the talent that you all have. Thanks for sharing!
