Ivory Rose Basketweave Wedding Cake (2213)
This cake was inspired by our tulip and hydrangea wedding cake with some changes to match the brides flowers and wedding colors.
The top of the tier includes a flower bunch consisting of ivory and blush roses with deep pink centers and green leaves with scattered hydrangea. Loose petals are gently cascading down the tiers. The top tier is also decorated with white piped dot accents and a light blue band with a thinner ivory band above.
A floral separator marks the separation between the first and second tiers. The second and bottom tiers are covered in white fondant with ivory basketweave panels on the sides of the ties. The top edges of the tiers includes ivory roping and another thinner blue band at the base of the tiers.
Flavors and fillings include vanilla with layers of chocolate buttercream and hazelnut buttercream, banana with vanilla buttercream, our signature pink velvet with lemon cream cheese and vanilla with two layers of chocolate and hazelnut buttercream. We delivered the cake to the Maplewood Country Club.
