First Communion Cupcake Tower (2436)
May brings lots of first communion celebrations. Many of our first communions have been celebrated with full cakes, but some parents opt for the cupcake tower as an alternative. For Harper James first communion this past weekend, we worked with his family to create a cupcake tower for the celebration.
This cupcake stand was loosely inspired by a christening cake topper we created back in 2008.
From that cake, we mimicked a similar pink cross on the front tier of the cake topper. In addition, we included a similar dark pink bow with short tails at the top of the cake. Not shown in this picture is a message on the top of the tier in celadon green which says “God Bless Harper James!”
Along with the cake topper we included 45 chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream dyed in coordinating celadon and dark pink.
Congratulations Harper James!
