Casey’s Zebra Print Bat Mitzvah Cake (2270)
Four years ago we were honored to create real fun and colorful tie dyed bat mitzvah cake for Lauren’s Bat Mitzvah. Lauren’s mom Jill, left us this testimonial, which to this day is one of my favorite!
In her testimonial she said the family would be back for Casey’s Bat Mitzvah. Well, she held true to her word, and four years later we were thrilled to work with Jill again to design Casey’s Bat Mitzvah cake!
The towering 4 tier round topsy turvy cake includes a hot orange standing rolled gumpaste number “13” and hot pink feathers on the top tier. The first and third tiers are covered in white and black zebra print with a hot pink center band on the first tier and a hot orange band on the third tier.
The second and bottom tiers are decorated with hot pink and orange fondant and alternating hot pink and orange polka dots. The front of the second tier includes a leaning rectangular plaque with fluted edges. Casey’s name is written in lower case across the plaque with font inspired from this cake.
Flavors and fillings included chocolate with oreos and cream buttercream and hot pink velvet with vanilla buttercream. We delivered the cake to Temple Beth Am in Parsippany, NJ.
We were thrilled this cake was a hit at the party and loved Jill’s post on our facebook fan page. In her post, she included both cakes side by side.
2 bat mitzvahs – 2 cakes….both incredible!! Anne, Casey’s cake yesterday was AMAZING just like Lauren’s was 4 years ago!!! Tasted great too!! Definitely the talk if the party…thank you so much!!!! 🙂
Here’s a video I shot at the bakery:
