Birdman Birthday Cake (1768)
Here’s a first! This dead bird isn’t a party fowl! (get it? Fowl?) Who would think that a dead snow egret would make for a fun birthday cake?? Well when Bob’s killer golf swing hit a bird mid-game, his nickname became “Birdman”. His wife humorously asked us to create this cake to commemorate Bob’s 50th birthday.
We are happy to say that flavors did not include any type of poultry. Flavors did include chocolate cake with 2 layers of raspberry mousse and 1 layer of vanilla mousse. We even replicated Bob’s driver and golf ball – both TaylorMade.
