25th Anniversary Super Mario Brothers Cake (1614)
It’s hard to believe that 25 years has passed since the original Super Mario Brothers was introduced by Nintendo. I spent many hours of my life playing this wonderful and addicting game.
So we were ecstatic when Nintendo reach out to us and asked us to create an 25th Anniversary cake for the event. We replicated scenes from various different worlds on each tier of the cake. The top includes a 3D version of Mario reaching the flag that represents the end of each level.
And to everyone’s surprise, the original creator of the game Shigeru Miyamoto also attended the event and cut the cake!

We received some great feedback from the Nintendo team and were grateful for the opportunity and honor of creating this cake:
One thing we didn’t mention before (it was a secret) was that the creator of Super Mario Bros (and Donkey Kong, Zelda, etc.) Mr. Shigeru Miyamoto and NOA’s president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime made surprise visits to the event and conducted the cake-cutting ceremony. It was a tremendous hit, so we thank you and your team for doing such a fantastic job!

Wait we aren’t done yet. Below is a video of the cake:
