Purple Monogram Wedding Cake (1913)
This 3 tier wedding cake was inspired by the couples invitation. White peonies and the couples monogram with lime flourishes were added to match the couples invite.
The top & bottom tiers are covered in purple fondant while the middle tier is covered in white with lime bands. The bottom tier includes a diamond stitched quilted pattern which was also coordinated with the invitation.
The video we shot at the bakery shows the invitation booklet to give you more background. Flavors included chocolate with peanut butter buttercream, vanilla with chocolate buttercream and chocolate with raspberry chambord buttercream.
