FCI Open House: Classic Pastry Arts

French Culinary Institute I will be participating in the FCI Open House for the Classic Pastry Arts program on Wednesday, March 19th 2008 between 6:30pm-8:30pm. Prospective students can attend to learn more about the program and see a Topsy Turvy cake demo.

    Hi Anne!!! is there anyway to record this demo and put it on the website? I am a college student in PA, and will not be able to make it to NYC. Are classes starting soon? and can this be one of your classes if the web demo thing doesn’t work? Thanks!!!

    Hi Sabrina – they may be recording it. We’ll let you know. We are still working on finding time to work classes into our schedule. We’ve been so busy with orders! We’ll let you know about the classes as soon as we find availability.

    Do you just stack your topsy turvy cakes, or do you cut the centers out to sit each cake inside? I ask because i have seen some demos online and none of them look as perfect as yours do. Your angles and structure is just perfect, and i want to know how you do it!!

    I would love to see a video of this done too. I’ve never had to do one but I love the way it looks! Your cakes are so awesome. I can see why they get so much attention. They are so creative and unique! I come back every week just to see if there’s anything new on your website. I enjoy looking at them all!
