How much do you charge for specialty, sculpted or novelty cakes?
Prices vary depending on size and complexity of the design. For specialty or novelty cakes, please contact us for a price quote.

II. Delivery
Where do you deliver your cakes, cookies or cupcakes?
We do offer delivery services pending availability. We generally deliver to the New Jersey, New York, Connecticut and Eastern Pennsylvania areas. See our cake delivery map for some of the areas we've delivered cakes too. Please contact us for delivery charges.
Do you ship cakes or cupcakes?
We regret that we cannot SHIP cakes, petit fours or cupcakes. We can, however ship cookies.
III. Flavors & Tastings
Your cakes are beautiful, but do they taste good too?
At Pink Cake Box, we make all of our cakes and cookies to order. That means we’re baking them when you order them – no frozen products here! We only use fresh ingredients, including real butter, milk, flour, sugar and eggs! When we make hazelnut filling, we’re roasting the hazelnuts and grinding them to a smooth paste for a delicious rich flavor.
This means our cakes not only look beautiful, but they also taste delicious - see what our happy clients are saying!
How much are cake tastings, and what do they entail?
Our tastings are $50 and include a variety of cupcakes to sample. A credit card is required to hold your tasting appointment. If the order is placed within one week the tasting fee is applied toward the order. If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 1 week in advance. In the event that an appointment is missed or cancelled less than 1 week before the appointment your credit card will not be refunded.
During the meeting, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations, etc, that may help us come up with something perfect for your event. The tasting lasts 1 hour and we ask that you arrive on time to ensure that you are allotted your full hour.
What cake flavors & fillings do you have?
We have standard cake flavors, standard cake fillings & premium fillings.
I have my own cake flavor in mind, do you do custom cake flavors?
Our cakes are made to order, so if you have a flavor in mind, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it for you! Our basic cake flavors are listed in our specialty cake section.
Do you make gluten-free cakes?
Yes, we offer gluten free cakes for any type of event including weddings. Here are some examples of gluten-free cakes we've created.
Do you make dairy-free cakes?
Yes, we offer dairy free cakes for any type of event including weddings. Here are some examples of dairy-free cakes we've created.
Are the numbers on your cake edible?
The numbers are made out of gumpaste and floral wire. The gumpaste portion is edible, but generally very hard since it is dried in advance.
IV. Ordering Information
How can I order a cakes, cupcakes or cookies?
We take orders either by phone, email, or through our online form.
How far in advance should I place my order?
We’d like as much lead-time as possible…but if you have a short notice order, ask us, and we’ll try to get it done for you! If possible, we ask that you give us at least 4 to 6 weeks notice on specialty cake orders.
Do you have a retail store where I can walk in an purchase a cake on he spot?
No, we are by-appointment only shop which specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies.
Can I pick up my order at the store? Where are you located?
Yes, our store hours are listed here. We own a by-appointment only specialty cake shop in Denville, NJ. Click here for location information and directions.
Is a deposit required when placing an order?
A 50% non-refundable order is required for all orders.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept, cash, checks or Credit Cards (Visa and Mastercard).
What is your refund/cancellation policy?
A deposit of 50% is due at time of order placement. Balance is due in full at time of delivery or pickup.
If an order is not picked up on the day of delivery or delivery is denied, the client is responsible for the remaining balance. Pink Cake Box will make every attempt to contact the client in the event of a missed pickup date or denied delivery. If a cancellation is made less than four weeks prior, the balance is due in full. No changes can be made to invoices less than four weeks prior to delivery date. Please note delivery/setup time is final as noted on your invoice. Changes to delivery/setup must be confirmed no later than four weeks prior to event.
In the event of cancellation:
- All requests for cancellation must be made in writing.
- If a cancellation is received, the aforementioned deposit will not refundable.
- If a cancellation is received less four weeks prior to the promised delivery date, the full aforementioned deposit and balance are due in full.

Do you make display cakes?
We can make display cakes perfect for bridal events, outdoor weddings or magazine shoots. Please contact us to learn more.
Can you make picture cakes/cupcakes or cookies?
Pink Cake Box does have the capability of printing your pictures, corporate logos or images onto cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Displaying your corporate logo on one of our creative cake designs is a great way to brand your company. Corporations have also used picture cakes & cupcakes for new brand launches, retirement dinners, and charity events, and company anniversaries. We
make custom cookies, perfect for party favors for weddings,
showers, birthday parties and more. Our delicious shortbread
cookies can be cut into many different shapes, hand
decorated with fondant and royal icing, and wrapped
in cellophane and a ribbon. Our cookie favors start
at $4.00/each.
Cookie platters are also available for parties. Assorted cookies include chocolate chip, peanut
butter, oatmeal raisin, shortbread and more!
