25th Company Anniversary Cake (2807)
Robin’s co-workers designed this cake for her 25th anniversary at their accounting firm in Boonton, NJ. The beach themed cake includes palm trees, a cute owl wearing a pink bikini, starfish, sea shells, sand and coral.
We received this wonderful review on facebook from Laurie who helped arrange and order the cake:
We needed a cake for an employee that has worked at my company for 25 years. We wanted a WOW factor. This cake was definitely a WOW moment. Also, the cake was just as delicious as awesome it looked! Thanks for making this a memorable day for my co-worker and everyone else that was here that day. Everyone was just amazed at the detail and creativeness!
Speaking of 25th anniversary’s we had an opportunity to participate in the Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau Let Them Eat Cake contest this past Thursday. The contest marked the 25th anniversary of Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau in America.
We competed against 5 other chefs from the New York area. The theme of the cake was “The Art of Wine”. And even though we didn’t win, we are very proud of our entry:
The top of the cake represents the cork of the wine bottle. Purple sugar grapes hang off the sides of the cake and the background from the Beaujolias Nouveau wine label was hand painted on the bottom tier.
