Anne Heap

Anne is a graduate of the Pastry Arts Program at the French Culinary Institute in New York City. She has completed an apprenticeship with Ron Ben-Israel Cakes in New York City and is the former head pastry chef at Il Capriccio in Whippany, NJ.

Since the age of six, Anne "Khoobiar" Heap has had a love for baking that was first inspired by her mother. Now, twenty years later, Anne is a pastry chef, and the founder of Pink Cake Box.

A graduate of Boston College, Anne began her career in Advertising in 2001. Her love for the kitchen continued, and she often treated her colleagues to freshly baked cookies, brownies and cakes. She joked that one day she’d own her own cookie shop.

In August 2004, Anne began selling her pastries to a local gourmet specialty shop in town. Soon her love for baking led her to leave her job in Advertising to pursue her dream.

Anne’s success at Pink Cake Box has opened up the door for Pink Cake Box to serve a wide variety of clients including corporate events, bridal shows, wedding cakes for the renowned Park Avenue Club of NJ, and local charities in the Morristown, NJ area. Her wedding cakes have also been featured in several national and local magazines including Modern Bride, Brides NJ, NJ Bride, People Magazine, and Morris Magazine.
